I forgot what application I was using. I wanted to like this....I'm now used to double SutmbleUpon entries, just like I'm used to Twitter being down when I need it.

Re "is ignorance bliss," depends upon your perspective. I enjoy reading his stuff when he talks about things that interest me. A lot of his communication is via video, however, and I don't have the patience to watch a 5-10 minute video.
It depends upon how you want to interface with people, and how people want to interface with you.
Let's say you're a Barack Obama supporter. Do you want to have to go to a blog to find out what he's doing, or do you want to see his updates in a service that you already use?
